License issues
On yet another open-source software mailing list, there has begun a “license war” about whether the license should change from GPL to BSD. I have two observations. First, I’ve never heard of anyone going from BSD to GPL. Second, “he who writes the code, writes the license,” and everyone else can shut the hell up. Just because you submitted a 3-line patch doesn’t mean it’s your decision as to the rest of the 99.9857% of the code which you didn’t touch.
