Regular expression coach
Several years ago, I started using the Regex Coach written by Dr. Edmund Weitz. It’s simply the best tool for interactively developing regular expressions. Not only does it provide visual information about grouping, it has step-by-step walkthrough of your regex, and the ability to do some basic debugging. For anyone working with regexes on a regular basis, it’s indespensible.
