David Winer: isn’t he dead yet?

In the history of the Internet, there are few people more loathesome than David Winer (link not provided so as not to additionally inflate his already over-inflated ego). My every interaction with him has been painful, bathed in an unmitigated arrogance and demonstrative of all that is wrong with many people. His “standards,” like RSS, are craptacular examples of ego overcoming incompetence. They are to true specificiations and standards what Paris Hilton is to actual talent, or even humanity—a painful interlude that we keep trying to forget while he/she continues to desperately seek attention. Poor Jon Postel must be rolling over in his grave to think that someone might even contemplate calling what Mr. Winer poops out a “specification.”

The sooner he’s gone, the better the world will be. His recent lawsuit is a further demonstration of the level of vindictive prickitude that is the very nature of a narcissistic self-absorbed twit.

Hell, just my opinion, but he’s a talentless hack.
