Meetings will continue until productivty increases

I now have standing meetings every Monday from 9am until noon, and then 2pm until 4pm. This will definately increase my productivty.

I’ve just stopped going to the meetings that I know will be a waste of my time. If my bosses tell me they want me there.. I bring my powerbook and work the whole time. Probably 90% of meetings (and meeting time) is a complete waste.

There are too many people that just like to hear themselves talk, and far too many meetings full of info that I couldn’t care less about.
