A computer case built for two

As I embark on a fun and exciting 18 months of traveling back and forth between home (Arlington, VA) and a job site in the midwest, I am realizing that I would really rather have my MacBook Pro with me, as it gives me a lot more possibilities to entertain myself, not to mention work on some personal projects. I have a general policy of not using my work machine for anything personal, ever, and don’t see a reason to change that now. The problem is, what to carry them in?

My normal bag—at least for personal travel—is a Waterfield Design Cosmo, which I’ve had for a 6 years. It’s been a great bag, and while it’s a bit beat up now, I still love it. Unfortunately, it’s not really built to handle 2 notebooks, and I’m afraid that the “soft” nature would collapse under all the additional weight. Before that, I carried a Brenthaven case that was specifically designed for a Titanium PowerBook. It was awesome.

So, does anyone have any recommendations about bags, or even backpacks, that would handle both a MacBook Pro and a ThinPad T42p?
