Pat Tillman and the continual lies

Pat Tillman’s death was not an accident. Whether he was assassinated by someone close to him, or it came as an order is the only question. Unfortunately, the cover-up that followed points to the later, not the former. The question is simply how high up it reaches.

How do I know this? Well, multiple sources inside the military have all stated, rather bluntly that obviously he was killed intentionally, and likely for his beliefs about the war’s legality. Even if everyone, with a good bit of knowledge, is wrong, it still brings two questions:

  1. Why the cover-up, as it went far beyond a PR move to involve massive lying to people?
  1. What does it say about this Administration, and the military now, that so many people are willing to believe they’d kill someone who fits the true definition of patriot, to protect their greedy lies?

To paraphrase Molly Ivins, does it really matter that much if they are brilliantly evil, or maliciously incompetent?
