Job titles
Job titles don’t matter, but I’ve decided—if they’d let me put it on my card—I should simply put:
Technical Hit Man
It’s about the only thing that accurately describes what I get asked to do.

Heh, back in 95 I started an internet company with a friend of mine, by the time gopher was displaced by the www we described our company as ‘internet context provider’.
We never came around to actually making business cards but since /many/ of my projects entailed speedily re-doing what other suppliers hadn’t finished in time we had decided mine would read ‘post deadline productions’.
Yeah, we were contrarian, that was required in those days ;-)
