Bling bling Jesus bling bling
Apparently, I am told, this is a church. Seems like a prank, but then so does most religion.

After having read Rick Warren’s “The Purpose-Driven Church” and David Kinnaman’s “UnChristian” (the latter is about what the 16-29 age groups think of Christianity and why it matters), I can understand why churches are going to start to look “blingy” and less like “white wooden buildings with steeples”. They have to get attention from a generation that is easily distracted, and they have to build relationships, not seek converts.
This is far more in line with my perception of Jesus’ ministry (what is more bling-bling than walking on water? How did Jesus relate to the twelve?)
Church as it largely exists today is an anachronism, and their hypocritical, judgmental, anti-homosexual, greedy and shallow attitudes deserve to die.
