There and back again, a .NET story

For the last few months, I’ve been working on learning the F# functional programming language. The reasons for this are both intellectual curiosity, but also getting a better understanding of the .NET ecosystem. After a few months, I’ve come to a point where I’m hitting a gap of understanding of the underlying libraries and interop with the rest of .NET.

Because of that, I’ve decided to take a break, and learn C# so that I understand the lingua franca of the ecosystem. For the purposes of this, I’ve decided to use this book which fortunately is available via Seattle Public Library ’s access to O’Reilly learning center (or whatever it’s called this year).
